Florian Mitchel
Florian has been engaged in the field of waste management in different capacities for many years and is currently the Manager at Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation. He has gained an extensive knowledge from his years in this sector, excelling in, but not limited to, fleet management, staff management and logistics.
Environmental preservation is very important to Florian. He believes that renewable energy coupled with waste management can make the sector more efficient and can achieve environmental goals.
Florian thinks that research and development is crucial for small island developing states (SIDS) becoming resilient, however, he believes that youth engagement is a vital part for SIDS future and is passionate about helping create the link between the two.
