Designated by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) as a Senior International Agribusiness Specialist/ Consultant, Mr. Reid has over 40 years professional experience working in the Caribbean/CARIFORUM region with International, regional, national, and small producer organizations. He has led and/or participated in large and medium-size agribusiness and climate-change development projects, and is versed in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; MSME/small-holder agribusiness modelling; developing competitiveness value chain upgrade strategies; private and public sector institutional development and management; market research and analysis; contract farming and market linkage/supply chain management; producer group development and training; climate adaptation and mitigation; Industry/sector situational analysis; and policy development.
